The exhibit hall includes a play area for young children\, maps to orient you to the largest estuary on Lake Superior\, and information to help you get out and explore. \nWhat’s an Estuarium?\nA gathering place for learning and play! The term is a combination of words “estuary” and “museum.” Join us in the exhibit hall to learn more about how fresh water\, ecology\, and culture coexist and thrive in the Lake Superior watershed. \nLocation\nLake Superior Estuarium\n3 Marina Drive\, Superior\, WI 54880. The Estuarium is hosted by the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve and is a red building on Barker’s Island in Superior. \nOpen Hours:\nEach Friday from 10:00 am-2:00 pm\nCome back on the first Saturday of each month! Stay tuned for special “first Saturday” activities at the Estuarium hosted by the Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve.

From there\, hikers will gradually climb to the breathtaking Hull-Rust-Mahoning Mineview\, often called the “Grand Canyon of the North.”\n\n\nThe climb is steady\, rewarding\, and suitable for all ages and abilities. Hike with friends\, family\, or coworkers while enjoying the journey\, celebrating Hibbing’s history\, and taking in one of the most incredible views on the Iron Range.\n\n\n Register before May 8th and receive a FREE event shirt!\n\n\nThis event is also a fundraiser for the Hibbing Tourist & Senior Center\, supporting local programs\, events\, and services that keep our community vibrant and welcoming.
