Join Urban Rural Action for a collaboration skills workshop. During this workshop participants will learn and apply a framework, the ABCs of Constructive Conversation, for achieving a mutual understanding of different views on tough topics. They will introduce a memorable and accessible communication model and help participants practice applying the model to explore different perspectives and navigate disagreement.
UR Action’s mission is to ‘bring Americans together across divides to tackle our country’s most urgent challenges.’ Their vision is a ‘more peaceful and democratic America.’ UR Action works with individuals and organizations to strengthen interpersonal skills such as dialogue and joint problem-solving. They also help community teams analyze complex challenges across systems and design interventions to effect positive change.
