Come see and hear what it was like to experience a silent film back in the 1920’s.
Renowned organist, Aaron David Miller, will accompany the silent film “The Cameraman” at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 on the historic Felgemaker pipe organ housed at Sacred Heart Music Center.
“The Cameraman” is a silent romantic comedy film starring Buster Keaton, one of the era’s greatest actors-directors. The film was a box office hit when released and considered by fans and critics to be one of Keaton’s best films. For decades, MGM’s writing department used the film to train new writers as a “perfectly constructed comedy.”
Aaron David Miller is noted for his highly imaginative and creative style, found in his performances, improvisations and compositions. He has won numerous international awards for improvisation and has given concerts and accompanied silent films across the country.
