D.A.W.G – on – it! Guided Dog Hike @ Jay Cooke State Park – Carlton MN

Sunday, November 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

  Jay Cooke State Park
A stone sign reads "Jay Cooke State Park, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources" with an illustration of a bridge and trees. It's flanked by two stone pillars, surrounded by greenery.

Dogs are welcome in Minnesota State Parks, but not everyone is a dog person. Join our naturalist on a guided dog walk! Participants will learn how to be a good D.A.W.G. Don’t leave behind waster. Always leash your dog. Watch out for wildlife. Go only where allowed.

Where to Meet: Meet in front of the River Inn Visitor Center.

Who Should Come? Everyone is welcome to attend. Attendees should be comfortable around dogs. Participating dogs should be socialized to be around other dogs and people.

What to Bring? Dogs need to be on a leash no longer than 6 ft. long and picked up after.
