Snowshoe Walk on Bear Creek Trail – Superior

Saturday, February 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

  Bear Creek Trail
A close-up view of a person wearing snowshoes and walking on snow, using trekking poles for support. The scene focuses on their lower legs and feet.
Join us for a restorative snowshoeing experience on the beautiful Makwa Ziibiins Miikana (Bear Creek Trail). This improved compact-gravel trail offers an easy, scenic outing along Bear Creek and Allouez Bay. The route includes boardwalks and two large wooden
bridges, perfect for a peaceful winter walk and good conversation. Free and open to all!
We will meet near the Bear Creek Park in the parking lot area. Whether you come alone or with a friend, we’ll enjoy winter together!
Eight pairs of snowshoes are available to use, RSVP at LiveWellNorthernWI.org to secure your spot!
LiveWell Event: This activity is organized by LiveWell, an initiative of the UW-Superior’s Pruitt Center for Mindfulness and Well-Being.
