DESCRIPTION:Join fellow paddlers and adventurous spirits for an evening of inspiration and awe as we take over both Zinema Theatres (222 E Superior St. Duluth\, MN 55802) on Thursday\, May 14.  \nDoors open: 4:30pm \nShowtimes: 6:30pm\, 6:45pm (same films) \nChoose whichever suits best and join in on the full evening of events! \nTheatre 1 is larger and showtime is 6:30pm \nTheatre 2 is smaller and showtime is 6:45pm \nTickets: $25 Advance tickets are on sale now! Digital proof of purchase (order confirmation) must be presented upon arriving at the Zinema Lobby (down the stairs) to receive your official Paddling Film Fest ticket. This doubles as your Door Prize Ticket! *Specific to which Theatre you selected. \nDoor & Raffle Prizes: We have incredible door & raffle prizes\, thanks to awesome sponsors you can check out below. Your event ticket doubles as your door prize ticket—don’t lose it! Free Door prizes will be handed out before and after films; you must be present to claim them. DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE! Registration will not open until Monday\, June 1st. \nThe St. Louis River Alliance invites you to join us on Thursday\, June 25\, from 5-8pm at Munger Landing (Clyde Ave\, Duluth\, MN 55808) for the ‘Physics of the Paddle: An Intro to SUP along the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail’. In partnership with our friends at North Shore SUP\, this event will help you connect with the breathtaking beauty of the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail. \nIf you’ve ever been curious about Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) or haven’t had formal instruction\, this free\, beginner-friendly event is perfect for you. The class includes a combination of on-land instruction and on-water paddling time\, creating a supportive learning environment for first-time paddlers. \nMeet us at Munger Landing’s sandy launch for an engaging and instructional hour-long introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding. Participants will learn SUP basics\, including how to properly size and handle equipment\, board anatomy and terminology\, proper stance\, paddling techniques and transitions\, and a bit of SUP history along the way. This will be in a fun and safe\, immersive learning environment where all equipment is provided for you. Guests will have a one hour time slot\, with 10 people in each group at a time max. \nAll participants will receive a free St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail map to inspire future adventures. We hope you can join us on the water! \nAre you looking to register for ‘Physics of the Paddle: An Intro to SUP along the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail’?
