Boys lived on the third floor\, girls stayed on the second floor\, and life at Fairlawn was much like that of other children in the community. They attended public school\, participated in Scouts and church activities\, and played with neighborhood friends.\n\n\nThis chapter of Fairlawn’s history is one that touched thousands of lives\, and this Sunday you have the opportunity to hear about it from someone who experienced it firsthand.\n\n\nJoin us at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday for a special History Talk with John Miller\, who lived at Fairlawn for 10 years as a resident of the Children’s Home.
