Did you know that more than 2,000 children called Fairlawn “home” during its 42 years as the Superior Children’s Home? 
Some children stayed for only a short time, while others spent years growing up within these walls. Boys lived on the third floor, girls stayed on the second floor, and life at Fairlawn was much like that of other children in the community. They attended public school, participated in Scouts and church activities, and played with neighborhood friends.
This chapter of Fairlawn’s history is one that touched thousands of lives, and this Sunday you have the opportunity to hear about it from someone who experienced it firsthand.
