Born into a family of musicians in Kyiv, Ukraine, Marko Topchii began studying the guitar at the age of four. He has tallied an incredible 126 (and counting) awards worldwide in international classical guitar competitions in the professional category. Topchii has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Salle Cortot (Paris), Yamaha Ginza Hall (Tokyo), Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow) and appeared on the cover of multiple classical guitar magazines. In addition to recording three solo CD albums, Topchii also performs with orchestras and has a repertoire of more than ten concertos for guitar and orchestra. Doors open at 2:30. The concert is followed by a reception and the opportunity to meet the artist.
