Snowshoe Saunter @ Jay Cooke State Park/River Inn Visitor Center – Carlton

Saturday, March 21 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

  River Inn Visitor Center
Four people walk through a snowy forest, wearing snowshoes and winter clothing. They use poles to help navigate the snow-covered path surrounded by trees.

Join us on a leisurely saunter sorrounded by snow.  After some “how to snowshoe” basics, we’ll head out on the trail to see what we encounter in the woods.  After the program, join us around the fire for a hot beverage such as hot cocoa, or tea.  Child and adult snowshoes are available to borrow.  Contact Dan at daniel.cocchiarella@state.mn.us or 218-673-7006
