Join us on February 24 starting at 6:00 pm for our annual Aadizookaan Winter Storytelling & Community Feast, with Michael Migizi Sullivan Sr., PhD! We are so excited and honored to have Migizi join us for a night of Ojibwe Winter Storytelling! This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome!
Aadizookaan roughly translates to “a sacred story”. These stories are traditionally told at night, in Anishinaabemowin, when snow is on the ground. They contain teachings and guidance on how to live a good life, connect us to the world around us, and remind us of our origins. This event is a great opportunity to hear traditional stories, and share a feast with friends, family, and community members.
