This year’s presentations and workshops will focus on gardening for the body, mind, and spirit. We’ll have amazing speakers and presenters including County Horticulturist Bob Olen, Extension Agriculture Educator, Troy Salzer, and the Extension Master Gardeners.
Keynote presentations will include a look at the season ahead, spectacular new plant introductions, new disease resistant tomatoes, gardening and the gut microbiome update, biochar and gardening, fundamentals of landscape design, and expert input into developing your landscape plan.
Attendees will be able to choose from workshops covering a wide range of topics including building better soils, cover crops/composting, raised bed gardening, nutrient dense vegetables, pruning trees and shrubs, propagating houseplants, soil testing, constructing terrariums, container gardening, winter sowing, growing blueberries, growing hardy roses, dahlias and peonies, and bee friendly/low input lawns.
Attendees receive the 2026 SGE Resource Book. Catered lunch and refreshments are included.
