It’s no secret that Superior, Wisconsin, has some of the best eateries in the area. Food enthusiasts, or “foodies,” are always itching to get a taste of some world-famous, Superior cooking.
Many restaurants in the original Twin Port have been around for decades, while others are brand new. There are some exciting new options brewing in the area, and we can’t wait for you to dine with us! With flavorful cuisine for breakfast, lunch, supper and everything in between, Superior is a foodie’s paradise.
New Kids on the Block

The Superior food scene is growing! Recently, a few new dining options have opened up in the area and we couldn’t be more excited. Foodies rejoice!
Pedro’s Cantina and Grill – Now Open!
Pedro’s recently opened a location in Superior! Famous for their authentic Mexican cuisine, they use only the freshest produce and finest meats. This is the second location for Pedro’s, with the first being in Cloquet, Minnesota.
Wasabi – Coming Soon!
This Japanese cuisine restaurant is for ALL the sushi lovers out there! They feature dishes like Hibachi Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, Yaki Udon and Spicy Salmon Rolls. Located right on Tower Avenue, this spot is convenient and, most importantly, delicious!
Noodles and Company – Coming Soon!
Ahhh, comfort food. This regional chain has restaurants all across the Midwest, and finally made their way to Superior! Pasta, soups and salads are specialties.
Boulder Tap House – Coming Soon!
Located on the footprint of the old Grizzlies building, the Boulder Tap House is opening its newest edition to the franchise in Superior. With a modern atmosphere for a younger crowd, this spot features tons of TVs and an open floor plan – perfect for catching the big game!
Word on the street is there are some other super secret spots opening in 2024 as well. We can’t tell you much, but let’s just say these new restaurants will round out Superior’s dining options! Be sure to follow along on our website and socials to stay up to date.

The Superior Family Restaurant on Tower Avenue is a must-stop destination before a hike in the park or a trip to the beach. Superior Waffles
This is the only sweet and savory waffle bar in the Twin Ports! Top this tasty treat with sprinkles, whipped cream, bananas, pecans or whatever suits your fancy. Their specialty waffles include a cheesecake waffle, a s’mores waffle and even a chicken waffle!
KD’s of Superior
Family-owned and operated, KD’s is a prime example of a restaurant that exhibits small-town values, along with amazing food! Their breakfast menu is sure to satisfy any appetite.

7 West Taphouse
Grab a burger and a beer after a morning of adventures at this friendly taphouse! Featuring a menu of tacos, salads, burgers, hoagies and more, you will not leave hungry.
Choo Choo Bar and Grill
The preferred bloody mary bar of Superior does not disappoint! Even the pickiest eaters will find something they enjoy at this local establishment. This is one train you definitely don’t want to miss.
Wabegon Bar and Grill
This hidden gem is located close to the Mission Creek bike trail system and Mont du Lac and will keep your hunger at bay after a morning of fun. If you’re around on a Friday, be sure to check out their famous fish fry!

At the end of a full day of exploring the Superior area, nothing beats a good meal with great friends. The evening dining options include everything from supper clubs to dive bars for wherever the night calls for!
Eddie’s Supper Club
Known for their world-famous ribs, this supper club is perfect for the whole family. This legendary establishment has been around since the 1880’s and is a staple in the Superior area!
The Hammond Steak House
This iconic steak house proudly serves nothing but the best Certified Angus Beef. Only the best for all the steak-lovers in Superior, Wisconsin.
Barkers Island Waterfront Grille
You really can’t beat the location of this one. Located right on the shores of Lake Superior, you can enjoy a fine dining experience with amazing views. The menu includes classic favorites, along with more adventurous options for those seeking a little something extra!
